Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

statewide title

finds documents containing 'statewide' or 'title'

statewide or title

same as above

statewide and title

finds documents containing both 'statewide' and 'title'

statewide not title

finds documents containing 'statewide' but not 'title'

(statewide not title) and inc

finds documents containing 'inc', plus 'statewide' but not 'title'

web*

finds documents containing words starting with 'web'
