to announce our 17th annual Continuing Legal Education Real Estate seminar
series. Real Estate attorneys throughout the state may choose between 10
convenient locations to attend and receive 4 hours of CLE credit including
1 hour of ethics. Registration fee includes seminar materials, lunch, a
variety of beneficial real estate related items, and a social hour at the
conclusion of the event.

Chris Burti
Chris is Vice President and Legal Counsel for Statewide Title, Inc. and has
been with the company since December of 1994. Prior to joining Statewide
Title, Chris was in the private practice of law for fifteen years.

John Dillard
John is Vice President of
Statewide Title Exchange Corporation. John received his BSBA Degree from
Western
Carolina
University, JD from
Cumberland
School
of Law in 1980 and PhD in Economics from
Southwest
University
. John was in private practice before entering the title industry
in 1985, in which he has worked ever since.
John is a current member of the NC State Bar, the NC Bar Association, Real
Property Section, and the NC Land
Title Association. John has
taught at several universities and colleges as an adjunct faculty member
teaching Economics, Insurance and Business Law. He has served as a
speaker at various North Carolina Bar and Land
Title seminars. He is
published in the field of Economics and was awarded the "Distinguished People
of the 20th Century" award by the prestigious Cambridge Institute in
Cambridge,
England
in 1999 for his study on Supply Side Economics.
John joined the Statewide family in 2006.
